This list, jointly released by the Edible Fungi Branch of the China Chamber of Commerce for Foodstuffs and Native Produce, Shenzhen Jiuneng Brand Management Co., Ltd., Yigu.com, Food Industry Headlines, Edible and Medicinal Fungi Magazine, Fungal Research Magazine, and China Edible Fungi Magazine, was supported by massive amounts of data from platforms such as Baidu, WeChat, Douyin, and Meituan. It selected the 10 most popular shiitake mushroom dishes, using "down-to-earth" menus to help shiitake mushrooms reach the tables of ordinary people more quickly.

Who would have thought that a simple dish of "shiitake mushrooms and greens" would become the most popular dish on this list! Data shows that this popular home-style dish leads the pack with a popularity index of 4.3214 million, far surpassing the second-place "stir-fried shiitake mushrooms" (1.8651 million) and the third-place "shiitake mushroom and tofu soup" (1.2681 million), proving that "the more home-style it is, the more popular it is."
