To assist Chinese edible mushroom enterprises in grasping international industry trends and expanding overseas cooperation channels, the Edible Mushroom Branch of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce & Animal By-Products (hereinafter referred to as "the Branch") will continue to leverage its advantages as a long-term strategic partner by organizing a delegation of elite professionals from China's edible mushroom industry to attend the 2026 Dutch Mushroom Days in the Netherlands.
As the longest-standing, largest-scale, and most influential top equipment and technology exhibition in the international edible mushroom industry (particularly in the Agaricus bisporus sector), the Dutch Mushroom Days serves not only as a core platform for showcasing global cutting-edge technologies and ideas but also as a crucial opportunity for industry colleagues to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and explore business prospects. It is worth mentioning that the Branch's own brand event, "China Mushroom Days," was inspired by and has grown from this very exhibition. Our participation this time represents a valuable opportunity to trace our origins and benchmark against international standards. Since 2006, the Secretariat of the Branch has organized delegation participation for multiple consecutive sessions and has successfully conducted in-depth professional visits to neighboring countries post-event, accumulating extensive experience in group organization and overseas resources. This enables us to provide comprehensive and professional service support for participating enterprises. As a long-term strategic partner organizing this group participation, the Branch will establish a more direct and efficient international exchange bridge for Chinese edible mushroom enterprises.
The 2026 Dutch Mushroom Days is scheduled to take place from April 22 to 24, 2026, in 's-Hertogenbosch, a city in the southern Netherlands. To ensure effectiveness, the Branch plans to organize the delegation to depart in mid-April 2026. In addition to full participation in the core activities of the Mushroom Days, the Branch will meticulously organize peer exchange and market development activities after the event to help enterprises deeply connect with international resources and gain insights into European market demands.
