On December 16, 2025, the 2025 International Black Boletus Technology Innovation Conference, themed "Breaking Through and Moving Towards the New," was held in Jinghong City, the capital of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. More than 300 industry guests from nearly 10 major consuming countries and regions around the world gathered together.

At the opening ceremony, Xu Xiaohu, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Foodstuffs and Native Produce, analyzed the market trends and cooperation opportunities of the global edible fungi industry from the perspective of industry development.

Qian Keming, a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), vice chairman of the CPPCC's Committee on Education, Science, Health and Sports, and former vice minister of the Ministry of Commerce, put forward expectations for the development of the industry from the perspective of national strategy. He pointed out that the global food industry is currently developing towards healthier, more functional, and more international directions, and the black bolete industry has ushered in a rare development opportunity.

The conference launched the "Yunnan Black Boletus Global Table Plan" and awarded "Global Promotion Ambassador for Black Boletus" certificates to those who have made outstanding contributions to promoting Yunnan's precious edible fungi both domestically and internationally. Liu Ziqiang, Secretary-General of the Edible Fungi and Products Branch of the China Chamber of Commerce for Foodstuffs and Native Produce, expressed his hope that the promotion ambassadors and all attendees would shoulder the mission of disseminating the health value of black boletus and Chinese fungal culture, connecting global resources, assisting in the export of industry standards and the expansion of overseas markets, practicing the concept of openness and win-win cooperation, and allowing the aroma of Chinese black boletus to grace tables worldwide.

Chen Hui, Executive Chairman of the International Society for Medicinal Fungi, part-time Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Foodstuffs and Native Produce, Chairman of the Edible Fungi and Products Branch, and Chairman of Jiangsu Anhui Biotechnology, presented the honorary plaque of "Global Black Boletus Industry Innovation Leading Highland" to Hongzhen Biotechnology, a leading brand enterprise in Boletus.
Witnessed by academicians and guests, the Edible Fungi and Products Branch of the China Chamber of Commerce for Foodstuffs and Native Produce released the "2025 'Niu Furen' Brand Value Assessment," the "2025 Popular Black Boletus Dishes in Chinese Cuisine," and the "2025 Popular Black Boletus Dishes in Western Cuisine." The release of these three lists provides guidance for the brand building path and product innovation direction of the black boletus industry.
Guangzhou Suikai Electric Power Co., Ltd. and Guizhou Hongzhen Fungi Industry Investment Development Co., Ltd. signed a comprehensive energy cooperation framework agreement, and Hongzhen Biotechnology and Guonong Robotics reached a strategic cooperation agreement.
Notably, Li Tianlai, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and former Vice President of Shenyang Agricultural University, delivered a report entitled "Innovation and Application of High-Efficiency Cultivation Technology for Facility-Based Edible Fungi," providing an in-depth analysis of the application prospects of facility agriculture technology in black boletus cultivation.
Ren Fazheng, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor at the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering, China Agricultural University, delivered a report on the theme of "Nutritional and Health Value and Deep Processing Technology Innovation of Black Boletus."
Cui Yehan, Vice President of the China Seed Association, explained the establishment and implementation of the substantive derivative variety system.
Huang Chenyang, Chief Scientist of the National Edible Fungus Industry Technology System and Researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, outlined the technologies in the black boletus industry, including variety improvement, green pest and disease control, and post-harvest processing.
Shi Wei, Chairman of Hongzhen Biotechnology Group, shared the company's practical experience and future plans in the black boletus industry.
The "2025 International Black Boletus Technology Innovation Conference" featured eight thematic seminars, a black boletus industry achievements exhibition, and a smart factory site visit.
