To fully implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on advancing integrated development of domestic and foreign trade, actively respond to the special‑action arrangement of the Ministry of Commerce “Quality Export Goods Tour Across China”, accelerate the docking of high‑quality export‑oriented products with mainstream domestic retail channels and expand diversified market space, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By‑Products (hereinafter referred to as “the Chamber”), as one of the undertakers of “Quality Export Goods Tour Across China”, will organize enterprises to participate in the 26th China Retail Expo (2026 CHINASHOP) held in Hangzhou from April 15‑17, 2026. A dedicated zone of nearly 800 ㎡ for “Quality Export Goods Tour Across China” will be centrally set up in Hall 8 of the exhibition.

We sincerely invite member enterprises of the Chamber and relevant nationwide enterprises engaged in import, export and domestic sales of food and agricultural products to sign up for participation.

I. Platform Background and Strategic Significance

(1) Policy Background: National‑level Special Action Empowers Integration of Domestic and Foreign Trade

“Quality Export Goods Tour Across China” is a key initiative of the Ministry of Commerce to promote high‑quality export products to tap into the domestic market. It aims to smooth domestic sales channels for foreign‑trade enterprises and foster mutual advancement of the domestic‑international dual circulation. By building a high‑level exhibition and docking platform, it helps enterprises complete transformation and upgrading from “export‑oriented” to “coordinated development of domestic and foreign trade”.

(2) Organizer Background: Core Organization of China’s Retail Channels

China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA), founded in 1997

  • More than 1,400 member enterprises
  • Covering over 460,000 chain stores
  • Retail member sales volume reaching RMB 4.5 trillion
  • Accounting for approximately 11.6% of China’s total social consumer goods retail sales

Its membership includes large supermarket groups, convenience store chains, specialized retail brands, e‑commerce platforms, catering chains, suppliers and service providers. Almost all core decision‑makers of China’s mainstream retail system are within this association.

(3) Exhibition Background: Asia’s Largest‑Scale Professional Retail Exhibition

Hosted by China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA), CHINASHOP was launched in 1999. It has grown into one of Asia’s largest and most influential professional retail exhibitions and serves as the annual weathervane for China’s retail industry.

2026 CHINASHOP will debut at Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center, with a total exhibition area of 100,000 ㎡. It is expected to attract nearly 1,000 exhibitors and over 70,000 professional visitors, including leading national supermarket & chain retail enterprises, regional top retail groups, new‑retail & e‑commerce platforms, community group‑buying & instant‑retail operators, as well as supply‑chain and channel procurement decision‑makers.

II. Specification for “Quality Export Goods Tour Across China” Dedicated Zone

To strengthen cluster effect and unified brand image, the dedicated zone for “Quality Export Goods Tour Across China” covers nearly 800 ㎡ in the core area of Hall 8. It is under unified planning, unified visual design and unified matchmaking organized by the Chamber.

Positioning of the Dedicated Zone:

  • Build a centralized exhibition area for high‑quality food and agricultural products
  • Build a docking platform for export‑oriented enterprises and domestic retail channels
  • Boost overall exposure and bargaining power of the “Quality Export Goods” brand
  • Construct multi‑dimensional business scenarios integrating “Exhibition + Conference + Matchmaking”

Aquatic & frozen food, meat & poultry products, snack food & deep‑processed food, fruit & vegetable products, condiments, canned food, plant‑based protein & health food, specialty agricultural products, pre‑cooked food & semi‑finished products.

Preferential Policy: Members of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By‑Products enjoy a 10% discount. Non‑member enterprises can also access corresponding support policies (subject to final notice).
