Countdown to Event

9 days until Sep 19 registration, 10 days until official opening on Sep 20!

Over the past two days, many friends have asked me: How are the preparations for this year's Xiamen event going?

To be completely honest, overall progress is smooth, and we are feeling increasingly confident.

Exhibition Space Booking Concluded

This year, economic conditions globally and domestically have been challenging, putting general pressure on business operations. Under these circumstances, achieving an increase of tens of square meters compared to last year is truly not easy.

We do not blindly pursue scale or superficial excitement. Exhibition is merely the entry point; precision matching is the core. Helping enterprises find clients, markets, and partnership opportunities is the real outcome we aim for.

Corporate Sponsorship Over 50% Complete

Currently, 8—10 companies have confirmed their support. Big or small, sponsorship represents trust. We remember the support of every single company and must live up to this trust.

Overseas Registrations Significantly Outpace Last Year

We expect 60—80 attendees from Taiwan, and professional attendees from other countries/regions are expected to surpass 200 people. The professional field visits in Xiamen and Zhangzhou for overseas delegates on Sep 21–22 are also being finalized step by step.

This year, we invested heavily in overseas marketing, professional visitor invitations, and international resource organization. Internationalization is not about bringing a few foreigners for photo ops, but enabling Chinese enterprises to connect with overseas clients, understand global markets, and find real business opportunities.

To expand the global influence of China's mushroom industry and let the world hear more Chinese industry voices, we made substantial investments to specifically invite the Dutch publication Mushroom Business, as well as professional mushroom media from Russia, South Korea, and Ukraine to Xiamen for full coverage.

China is a global leader in mushroom production, but scale alone does not equal international influence. China's mushroom industry must not only step out onto the world stage, but also make its voice heard, tell its story well, and display enterprise and industry strength on international platforms.

Registrations from Key Production Hubs Exceed Expectations

High attendance brings both trust and pressure. What attendees see, hear, discuss, and whether practical problems get solved matter far more than registration numbers.

Full Schedule Officially Released Tomorrow

The full event schedule will be officially released tomorrow, before the end of work on September 11.

This year, we significantly cut down meetings to focus on a few truly valuable directions:

• Precision matching between local industries and enterprises

• Integration of edible & medicinal mushrooms with general food industry

• Global expansion strategies for Chinese companies

• How the mushroom industry can embrace AI

Fewer meetings, more dialogue; less formality, more results. We want to reserve more time for exhibitors, buyers, and those genuinely seeking business deals.

As many know, I have a "habit": the most important and exciting content is always saved for last.

Thus, I scheduled what I consider the most exciting session in Xiamen—"How Edible & Medicinal Mushroom Industry Embraces AI"—for the morning of September 22.

For this session, I have invited several heavy-weight keynote speakers and will moderate it personally. In the end, I will also share my personal insights and experiences from learning and applying AI over this period.

My team and I are extremely confident in reshaping the mushroom industry with AI!

Whether you listen or not is not my primary concern. Continuous learning is a personal choice; however, those who refuse to learn or genuinely embrace AI will eventually be phased out by time. It may sound blunt, but it is the truth.

Cancellation of Planned "Stock Asset Revitalization" Session

This does not mean the topic lacks importance, but the overall schedule is packed and team bandwidth is limited. Human energy is finite; rather than spreading ourselves thin, we prefer to subtract and deliver fully on every promise made.

Except for the VIP Reception and the targeted closed-door Business Matching Session on Sep 20 afternoon, all other sessions are free to attend.

On September 15, I will personally lead the team to Xiamen, entering full operational mode! 40 volunteers will also arrive successively.

From then on, the focus shifts from recruitment to fine-grained implementation: verifying every item, completing every task, and refining every single detail.

Here, my sincere thanks go to all exhibitors, sponsors, key production hubs, and domestic/international friends who continuously support us!

Special gratitude to Xiamen Fliport Wutong Hotel and Xiamen Fliport Conference & Exhibition Center, led by General Manager Mr. Chen Zhaochuan, for their full support and cooperation.

Having organized events for many years, one truth becomes clear: the real challenge isn't inviting people, but ensuring they gain value; not making the event grand, but making it practical.

In the face of unprecedented global changes and economic shifts, traditional industries have few old paths left to tread.

For the mushroom industry to achieve rebirth, innovation and change are vital—truly embracing AI in production, operations, management, marketing, and customer service.

"Never replace thinking with AI; always amplify thinking with AI."

Happiness is earned through struggle; hard work brings success!

Do good deeds, without questioning the future.

See you in Xiamen!
