2026 Edible Mushroom Industry Chain Innovation Expo (Xiamen)

Where is your next customer? How to do your next business deal? We are waiting for you in Xiamen! —— Ziqiang Liu

Lately, whenever I talk with friends in the industry, the conversation always turns to these two questions: The mushrooms are grown, the equipment is built, but what everyone is most anxious about is finding the people who genuinely need their products.

This year in Xiamen, my team and I are working hard to address exactly this.

Among the registration details received so far, over 100 international peers from 36 countries and regions have signed up, covering Europe, Asia, the Americas, Oceania, and Africa, alongside old and new friends from Taiwan, China and Hong Kong, China.

For enterprises aiming for overseas markets, this is an opportunity worth preparing for thoroughly. People you usually communicate with across time zones, language barriers, and long distances will now have the chance to sit down together to check samples, ask about demands, and negotiate prices, supply terms, and cooperation details.

What do overseas customers really think of China's rare mushrooms? Can they use our spawn, raw and auxiliary materials, equipment, and technology? Once products enter foreign markets, who will handle sales and services?

Bring these questions to Xiamen and talk directly with industry peers face to face. The answers you hear might influence your next strategic steps.

From 2017 to 2019, when we hosted China Mushroom Days in Zhangzhou, I vividly remember Chinese and foreign peers sitting around discussing business. Seeing this year's registration momentum, I feel that same energy again. We are confident about restoring the scale of international attendees to previous levels, and we look forward to reuniting with friends we haven't seen in years.

Having worked in this industry for 32 years as a second-generation mushroom producer, I know that taking a trip costs money and, more importantly, time. We must make detailed preparations to connect the right people so everyone gets a real chance to discuss concrete business deals.

International exchange, international trade, and enabling edible mushroom businesses to expand overseas are our primary expertise. The strengths of a national-level import and export chamber should be dedicated to helping Chinese companies find markets and partners, while assisting overseas peers in understanding Chinese products, technologies, and equipment.

When Coming to Xiamen This Year, Set One Key Goal First

If you want sales channels, bring samples, quotation lists, and supply terms; if you need technology, equipment, or talent, clarify your practical issues; if you want to expand overseas, specify your target markets and desired partners; if major production regions wish to attract investment, bring your projects and cooperation conditions.

Please send WeChat messages to me or Dongming now about whom you want to meet most and what you wish to discuss. Clearly state what your business does, what you need, and your arrival date. We will do our best to make advance arrangements so you can dive straight into real business discussions upon arrival.

To be honest, after hosting events for so many years, what I love hearing most after the exhibition is: "Ziqiang, this trip was totally worth it! I met the right person and made real progress."

My team and I work hard for this event just to hear more feedback like that.

Sept 20—22 | Xiamen Banki Convention and Exhibition Center

Set aside these three days. Meet old friends, connect with new ones, see what domestic and international peers are doing, and present your great products and technologies to the world.
