Advance Notice: 2026 Suizhou Xianggu Conference

Chinese Xianggu is ready to redefine its future.

Trade conditions, energy and logistics costs influence where mushrooms are grown and how they reach customers. Consumers are looking for different combinations of flavour, convenience, health and price; restaurants and food manufacturers need consistent specifications, usable yield and dependable supply. How should the Xianggu industry respond over the next three to five years?

On 9–10 December 2026, join growers, food makers, buyers and technology providers in Suizhou, Hubei, China, a major Xianggu-producing area with cultivation, processing and export experience. Six topics are planned:

Key Topics & Session Highlights

1. Strains and Quality

How do strains, hardwood substrates, growing conditions and drying relate to flavour, texture and rehydration? How can experience become useful buyer specifications?

2. Growing Inputs

Sourcing, preparing and supplying sawdust, substrate bags and other materials.
